Worst. Wonder. Woman. Costume. Ever

schmidtfloor.JPG

Hearing Ohio Republican Jean Schmidt's vile response to John P. Murtha yesterday was enough to turn our stomachs:

"Cowards cut and run" she said. "Marines never do" [the video is here]

Never mind that Murtha is a distinguished war vet who was visibly moved by the amount of carnage he has personally witnessed while visiting Iraq and vet hospitals. Once again, the GOP makes a mockery of the freedom we are supposedly fighting for by attacking any voice of dissent as unpatriotic.

Thank God Catch softened the blow by focusing our attention where it should be, on Schmidt's bizarre wardrobe.

"Worst. Wonder. Woman. Costume. Ever"

Thanks Catch, we needed that laugh.

Rep. Jean Schmidt is a perfect example of a petty, narrow minded, Rotarian little Philistine. The House of Representatives is populated with low-brow, middle American proles like her.

Why haven't we deployed Schmidt to Iraq? Imagine all those insurgents she could turn to stone with a single glance...

Ok, totally not fair, etc., I know it's a cheap shot and I'm sorry.

One more caption for the photo:

"Sometimes I seriously doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion!"

Thanks, I'm gonna go back to work now...

It bothers me even more that she's from Ohio.

Everyone should have long talks with their republican families at the table this thanksgiving. Mention god and jesus a lot.
