Francis and the Lights

We checked out these guys Saturday night at East River Bar and thoroughly enjoyed their set. Their sound is a combination of Peter Gabriel meets early Prince sprinkled with, as our friend Jeff points out, a little yachtiness. Their very fun EP is available here for download, but given the band's David Byrne theatrics and three percussionists, Francis and the Lights is a band to be experienced live which you'll be able to do this Thursday at Galapagos. [Thanks for the image Jeff]
