It is interesting that the only thing you have to say, in regards to Nader, is for him to "go away," and then you take two incredibly accurate, insightful comments and remove the brilliance, cast aside context and ultimately ignore the utter truth behind his comments: Obama is not that fucking great! He is a half-assed, charismatic poster-boy.
yeah, honestly, no one does come here for political commentary, especially since you just worship a center-right capitalist political party that doesn't care about anyone living in brooklyn.
Nader is the only real alternative to the other losers. vote for obama is a vote for born-again christian whose campaign will fund dozens of christian rock concerts this summer. progressive? what about church and state separation? he's nothing more than a pandering politician douchebag. do your homework, obama is wack.
Nader is the only real alternative to the other losers. vote for obama is a vote for born-again chrisitan whose campaign will fund dozens of christian rock concerts this summer. progressive? what about church and state separation? he's nothing more than a pandering politician douchebag.
Yeah I have to agree with those who said you guys took this out of context. Nader is speaking the truth, as he often does, and if you really want change in this country, voting for a different colored puppet isnt going to do it.
I can think of three good candidates fromt this election that actually would have made a change, and guess what, they were all old white men. But its not their color or their gender that really matters, its their politics. Too bad too many people in america cant get over how someone looks and actually try to understand who someone is.
nader is a good guy. usually. but he is playing his anti-everyone else thing. it's not like nader plays up his non-white status, ever. if you want to talk about assimilating and white washing.
obama was a grassroots organizer before he became senator. sound like anyone else we know? of course obama isn't going to be talking about taking down corporate welfare and all that. he can't. he wouldn't get elected. just like nader won't get elected. if obama so much as touches those issues with a 10 foot pole, white america, even so called liberal white americans, will be terrified of him.
This is not just out of context but presented with a "FALSE" headline. In the whole video Nadar never spoke that Obama "Tries To "Talk White." He actually is asking: "is it because he wants to talk white?"
Is this website expecting funding from Fox, with the display of such inaccuracy?
Can't this website do something useful, like, I don't know, post stuff happening in Williamsburg? Does anyone actually come here for political commentary?
i love how blindly devoted you are to your candidate, obama. going all fox news on this nader business is impressive. who would have known the lengths to which you're willing to go to stick up for your man.
maybe you'll go as far as obama will go for his corporate ethanol constituents.
Absolutely. I love Obama and despite Nader, but his criticisms are somewhat accurate. Obama isn't perfect, but he excels as a candidate, and also knows what needs to be done to win an election.
Yeah, I've got to agree with John. This was taken out of context. I agree with what Nader said (in this clip). But, the words he used were easy to twist into something hateful.

Oh and his common statement that Republican and Democratic candidates are two sides of the same coin has always been the worst propaganda imaginable.
He is and always has been a phony.

Nadar is a false anti-establishment savior
He always has been
He talk a good game and anyone who doesn't look into what he says gets taken in by him
He is a complete ruse
Back in 2000 his main goal was to get enough votes so his green party could get access to public funding.
That is no revolution and you should be ashamed of yourself if you think you are an egalitarian intellectual liberal and be taken in by this guy's bs

How can it be taken out of context when we provided the clip? If he were a right winger, you guys would be tearing him a new asshole.
Obviously, we don't think Nader is a racist. He's one of our nation's more progressive leaders. That said, we don't need race baiting.

don't take it outta context. i'm an obama voter, but nothing Nader said here is offensive. in fact, much of it is true.
i'm voting for obama because i'm scared of McCain, not because Obama's hands are totally clean (they aren't).
