Craft Fairs, Fleas and So Forth...

3rdward_craft.jpg

This is the weekend you can get all your holiday shopping done if you time things right. There are a handful of craft fairs and flea markets around town that will probably have something for your Aunts and Drunkles. Here's a couple, if I missed any, leave 'em in the comments.

1. First Annual WNNS Winter Holiday Flea Market!

The Williamsburg Neighborhood Nursery School is a wonderful grassroots school that has been serving children and families since 1999. This is the first Flea Market fundraiser and we are all excited. Toys, books, furniture, new items, crafts, designer clothes (from cool Williamsburg Moms) and more! The event will be Saturday, December 6th from 10am to 4pm at the school, located at 338 Wythe at South 1st in Williamsburg. Expect a "FLEA MARKET, RAFFLE, CHEAP-ASS GIFTS, BAKE SALE,YUM".

2. 3rd Ward's Handmade Holiday Craft Fair!

Browse the handmade goods & treats of over 50 local artisans, craft mavens & culinary masters including everything from LED Hula hoops & dog costumes, to custom cut clothes & jewelry, furniture & vintage ware from Brooklyn Kitchen, cookies & chocolates, wrapping paper, pillows & body soaps, custom electronics and Cut Brooklyn knives. At 3rd Ward, from noon to 7pm THIS SUNDAY

3. Of course, the Brooklyn Flea is still going strong through Dec. 21st. They also opened up a holiday market called...

4. The Gifted Holiday Market - across the street from the Flea at the Brooklyn Masonic Temple. They've got "Cider, antiques, crystals, winter plants, local shopping, a flurry or two--Sunday Brooklyn Perfect."

and then of course, if you're lazy, there's always Etsy.
