"Its unmarked location on Williamsburg industrial and nearly deserted Kent Street guarantees only the elite (read: tattooed starving artists) enter b.p.m. A hardcore venue for a party, the club's interior looks more like an abandoned concrete warehouse, and the crowd's behavior gets rowdier as the night goes unfolds. Although the phrase beats per minute brings back memories of techno clubs in London and Berlin, b.p.m.'s DJs run the musical gamut."
