WE SAY: A spacious multi-room club that is quickly becoming a Burg favorite. DJs play Thursday through Saturday. There is a pool table on the upper level. An art gallery is located in the back. And a large star-gazing open area courtyard is available if you want to smoke up. Tap beers and mixed drinks are cheapish.

From their website:
"A SALON FOR A NEW AND EMERGING DESIGN AND FASHION! Supreme Trading is a 7500 square foot bar/salon located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn featuring various cultural events revolving around the subject of fashion and design. Supreme Trading features approximately 2500 square feet as a bar and lounge operating 7 days a week. Various events and parties will be hosted in this premise. The remaining 5000 square feet are divided between two large project rooms and an 800 square foot garden. These rooms host innovative art installations combined with events focused on new and emerging fashion."

From New York Magazine
"Where can hipsters combine art and boozing even when the P.S.1 summer season is over? They need look no further than their own backyard thanks to Supreme Trading, a 7500 square-foot salon/bar with multiple rooms for live bands, DJs, even an art gallery. Exposed brick walls frame the main bar area, and suspended light fixtures serve as artful accents to the hangar-like open space. The crowd, which sports the latest in so-not-trendy-it's-trendy attire (goodbye ironic trucker hats, hello skinny ties!), guzzle down Stella and dance to the latest in indie, nu wave, and post punk rock. Several banquettes are off to the side, and for a little more privacy, a second level offers an intimate lounge complete with a pool table and benches overlooking the dance floor. But if it's a breath of fresh smoke you crave, head to the tin-ceilinged smokers' lounge with Little League–style bleachers. If you're into indie rock but not the scene's in-your-face attitude, this party is definitely worth the trip on the L train."
From Village Voice
"Mixing Manhattan superclub glamour with Williamsburg artiness, this new club/lounge/gallery/performance space is home to the infamous weekly post-punk Crashin In party, as well as various cultural events and happenings. The large, anonymous brick-walled dancefloor area is balanced out by intimate side niches, a billiard room and a cozy outdoor smoking garden. Three-dollar Budweisers and beautiful people -- need I say more? "
From City Search:
"Part gallery, part nightlife destination—all Williamsburg. This neighborhood behemoth makes the most of its 8,000 square feet. The bar exudes a friendly feeling with its use of dark wood and glazed tiles. The designers balanced out the large lounge by creating smaller, intimate seating areas. DJs play Thursday through Saturday in a back room that also hosts art and fashion parties. A billiard room and outdoor smoking garden round out the warehouse that previously served as a car-detailing salon."

Comments

This place is a complete dive. The street is disgusting, it looks like a hole, and I have never seen such a pathetic crowd in my life. If you are into the immature barely legal skater dude crowd, then this may be for you. It's a sea of insecure, immature punk posers.

This is a great spot, unfortunately often ruined by amateurish DJs who barely have any idea of what they are doing.
