WE SAY: Check out the make-over. The tattooed hipsters and the pitbulls are gone. Now its a restaurant/bar filled with yupsters. The food is good though.
From Village Voice.
"Remember that dive bar for punks and metalheads? Gone! Since North 6th has gone through mad development, Sweetwater's owners sold the place, which has been transformed into a French-American bistro with a full bar. There's no more Slayer on the jukebox, but those looking for a slightly swankier scene, a wine list, and a refined place to sit should check it out. The kitchen stays open until 2 a.m. on weekdays, and 3:30 on weekends. We'll certainly miss the old place, though."

to call it a yuppie joint is a bit unfair. Perhaps you are confusing yuppies with argentines? If that's the case then you are acting like a typical american, and what goes against the hipster credo more than that?
biatch!

It's THE spot for watching the World Cup in Wm'burg. The owners are Argentinian, the crowd is mellow and beautiful, and the sangria comes in two delicious colors. Great garden too.

As a local hipster (non-tattooed variety) I can attest that the crowd here is super-cool and yuppies are the exception, not the rule (flow, baby). Shit, if it's good enough for Ira Kaplan (or Ira Elliot for that matter), it's good enough for you...
On second thought, it's way too cool for the likes of you, so stay the hell away.
