WE SAY: A great place to grab a beer or take a piss after exiting the subway. Its location at the top of the subway stairs will always ensure at least a moderate crowd though. Especially on the weekends when the L seems to come once every 2 hours... everyone needs a drink after wasting half a night on the subway platform. Now with a pool table. Subway bar is intimate and mellow.

great bar. i had a great time, but left my backpack there last night/2hrs ago and im at work now and tried to call, but the number on your website needs to be updated. i called some lady and woke her up...appearently this is not the first time and needless to say she was rather unpleasent on the phone. ha! anyway if some how you get this and know the whereabouts of my yellow backpack please email or call me. colin.heston@gmail.com (843) 324-0989. thanks

They must be doing something right. They started out at as a small bar and soon took over next door.
Great atmosphere. The reviews were nothing to talk about, because it is a great "Divey" type bar.
Also look what happens after midnight, you might see ashtrays return to the bar late at night... Shhh, don't tell
