With failing energy and hours of work to go I read your post and hi tailed it over to Bluebottle feeling that just under $5 wasn't worth it for a cuppa joe. I bought the New Orleans and about 10 hours late was still hitting my laptop, all cynlinders firing. It went down smoothly and I must say, I do like the way they have no stirrers or sugar so's not to spoil the perfection of the brew. It's a very Zen spot, the Bluebottle. Keep up the great posts!

I used to live in BK but now am out west in SF. On a recent journey back east I was craving some good coffee and sadly most shops in NYC just don't compare with out west. The kyoto is possibly the best iced coffee i've ever had. $4.25 may seem like a lot but it's definitely worth it. BTW, the second best coffee i've ever had is their new orleans. BBC makes good coffee, they treat their workers great (have some friends of friends who work for them in sf) and they care about their product. go check them out, you won't be dissapointed.

to answer lance, i don't drink iced coffee too often, so i'm open to paying $4.25 for it.
but el beit already exists! the iced clovers there are tremendous, and the portion is decent for the price.
i'll definitely check out blue bottle, might be nice to have some variety in my ubergourment ultra awesome ice coffee consumption.

I tried the Iced Coffee! Don't know what the fuss is about, really. Verb Caffee has been serving cold brewed ice-coffee for year. So, please explain... who exactly needs a $4.25 Iced Coffee?
