We’ve been meaning to spread the word about our favorite new brunch spot, Brooklyn Label. It can get crowded at times, but the food is well worth it. A welcome addition to the hood. Have you been? Let us know what you think here.

Hi to all our regulars and brunch visitors! We’d like to update everyone on what’s going on at Brooklyn Label:
We’re happy to bring Ed Bode on as our new Head Chef. Many of you have already recognized him from his southern fried days at Union Picnic. Once he gets settled in you can all expect some great specials coming your way.
We have recently changed our hours to a winter schedule. Our new hours are 7am-7pm monday through friday, 9am-7pm on saturday, and 9am-4pm on sunday. We will keep these hours until our liquor license is finalized (yes, we are still waiting..) and spring arrives.
We’ve brought in some great new desserts from Vegan Treats (www.vegantreats.com) from Penn. They are amazing! Deliveries come in on tuesday evenings. Vegan Treats is a great company with a cult following, and we can see why. Sinfully good!
We’ve also made some health conscious changes to our menu. We’ve switched to soy oil to cook our eggs, some of our breakfast entrees, and our hashbrowns, rather than butter. We’re keeping the butter where it’s needed, but trying to lighten up where we can.
On a personal note, to all of our regulars: Aaron and myself are on tour right now to support our first album, and will be on the road for 5 weeks!! the rest of our staff will be taking care of you all while we’re gone. We look forward to seeing you all when we get back.
Sincerely-
April Goettle
GM, Brooklyn Label
Hi April!
Long time no see!!! I’m glad to see you still keep yourself so busy. Hope your tour went well. I’m about to go on deployment to Africa for six months. I’m an officer in the Navy now. Trying to keep myself busy also. You know I still tell the Sugar Ray story about what a corny come on line Mark had when we were at that little bar in Helena. I believe it was “I’ll eat your box like Hardee’s at 4 in the morning…” Take care of yourself Satangirl.
