Fresh Band Meat: Fort Lean

Brooklyn’s Fort Lean specialize in jangley pop with a surf rock edge and we are completely under their spell.  This fivesome brings a sweet and sour mix of vintagey melodic crooning and grungy rock to their subtly infectious jams.  Just one listen and you will feel like you are leather jacket clad and getting drunk at the drive-in on a breezy summer night in 1966…now doesn’t that sound fun (and specific)?

More good news! they are playing a slew of shows next week so you have no reason not to go see your new favorite band.  Catch them this Sunday at the Rock Shop in south Brooklyn, June 29th at Pianos and at a Karaoke bar in Chinatown (almost like a drive-in) next Thursday June 30th where they will play a very cool party called FUZZ.
