Fund the Bent Festival at Kickstarter, Get Mp3's, DVD's, & a Noise Toy!
Bent Festival, the annual DIY music & art fest taking place 4/22 – 4/24 here in Brooklyn, has a project page up on Kickstarter, and is currently a little over $1k short of their $2k goal. Donations, they write, “will go toward paying artists, travel expenses for out-of-towners, and materials for installations and workshops.” Plus, you’ll get some pretty rad stuff.
Here’s what the various amounts of funding will get project backers:
$10 – Bent Festival .mp3 compilation
$25 – Bent Festival .mp3 compilation plus Bent Festival t-shirt
$50 – All above plus entrance to Bent Festival after party with Ken Rei, Computer at Sea, and open bar
$100 – All above plus Bent Festival 2009 DVD
$200+ – All above plus Andromeda Drum Machine designed by Bent Festival 2009 and 2010 artist Eric Archer (!!!)
$500+ – All above plus noise toy created by Bent Festival artist Tristan Perich
$1,000+ – All above plus Doorag Handmade Sound Generator by Bent Festival Artist LCDD and one of five handmade synths created by a 2010 Bent Festival artist.
