Let's Report Sarah Palin's Facebook Rant for Being Hate Speech, Yes?
Some insane woman from Alaska is ranting on Facebook about how an Islamic community center built near Ground Zero would be a “stab in the heart of the families of the victims.”
Quite frankly, she’s being a racist loon.
Go report her post on Facebook for being “Racist/Hate Speech” to the admins. Let’s see if Mark Zuckerberg has any balls left.
Update: Oh, hey. If you’re on Tumblr, reblog me!

fucking. brilliant. idea. As someone directly affected by the attacks, I’m really tired of her fake concern for me. Especially when she said in the election she didn’t care about us because we don’t live in “real” America.
I personally don’t care about a mosque being built, and it’s not a stab in the heart at all. What is a giant stab in the heart is all these assholes with their “Never Forget!” pins. A lot of people would actually love to forget.
it may sound crazy, but to a certain extent i agree with sarah palin (i shudder at the thought). I understand, as she may not, that all of islam is not to blame for 9/11. but to go forward with a project to build a mosque, dedicated to the worship of the principles that drove the attacks, by a figurehead that disagrees with american and israeli foreign policy, seems to be tolerant to the point of stupidity.
at some point, you must acknowledge that some form (or distorted form) of islam was the catalyst for 9/11. if the mosque sponsored a mural of allah over the 9/11 memorial site, would that be OK? I would argue that being so politically correct is just as ignorant as believing that all muslims bear responsibility for the attacks. I guess you just have to know somebody that died that day to comprehend how sensitive an issue this is, and how innappropriate placing a mosque in the footprint of an extremist islamic terrorist attack that killed over 3000 americans really is.
@jbs – I’ll say the same thing to you that I did to Palin: I assume you’d object to any church being build near Olympic Centennial Park in Atlanta? That was the site of Christian-motivated terrorism on American soil, so the public has every right forbid the building of a shrine to that religion on private land in the vicinity, correct?
If those 19 men represented all of Islam, then Eric Robert Rudolph represents all of Christianity.
I guess you just have to know somebody that died that day to comprehend how sensitive an issue this is, and how innappropriate placing a mosque in the footprint of an extremist islamic terrorist attack that killed over 3000 americans really is.
I’d guess you’d also have to know that 310 of the 3,019 killed/missing were not American citizens, and 59 were Muslims (not counting the hijackers).
+1
jbs – Millions upon millions of souls were displaced around the world in the name of religion for many years.
This is not a moral dilemma. Whether or not you try to paint it that way, it isn’t. It’s the fact that you are different than they are, and you do not like that.
Not one Palin-ball-licker can answer the question of what it was a catholic church or a fucking Buddhist temple because then that would completely negate their ‘argument’. If you can call it that.
I tried to post this link on my facebook but it wouldn’t let me. Weird…
I guess with this logic we should close all Catholic K-8 and High Schools, and demolish all Catholic churches within a 1 block radius of a school because of the Child Sex Abuse cases.
Sara Palin does not care about this issue. She is taking a stand of opposition against Barack Obama who supports this mosque. This is all just campaign fodder for her 2012 campaign. Which is actually just a ploy to get you to vote for the other guy. She is a political puppet. Stop examining each statement and start to evaluate the effect it was meant to have. She is not stupid. She thinks we are.
You know, one of the most infuriating things about Palin’s facebook page — aside from all the racism and hate that’s pretty much standard fare for her — is the fact that the writing is so godawful, but nobody, herself included, seems to care about it.
Many of you probably heard her “invent” a word this week, and then claim Shakespearean roots because he, too, “invented” words.
What a crock. And for what? Would she loose her faux-folksy qualities if she learned to write sensically?
What ever happened to leaders that inspire us to higher aspirations? She touts the “foundations of our republic,” all the while subverting and corroding those very ideals. Fuck her. And fuck her even more for putting her upturned nose into something that she has no personal investment in. Shes made it clear that she doesn’t consider us part of “real America,” so just butt out.
I do think what you’re proposing here is a good idea, but I choose to ignore her completely, as shes ignored us (up until, of course, she can abuse our city to score political points).
how about no more religious mosques, cathedrals, schools or anything ever. again. how’s that for PC? how about no more religion? period. this is a conversation for monkeys that believe in ghosts, veiled in a feigned respect for each group of loons’ silly dogmas.
and frankly, calling this hate speech is teenage logic, and going on a facebook rampage is really a tired strategy – our generation’s feeble attempt at “making a difference.” barf. grow up.
YOU ARE FASCISTS!!!!!!
FASCISTS!!!!!! FASCISTS!!!!!! FASCISTS!!!!!! FASCISTS!!!!!! FASCISTS!!!!!! FASCISTS!!!!!! FASCISTS!!!!!! FASCISTS!!!!!! FASCISTS!!!!!! FASCISTS!!!!!! FASCISTS!!!!!! FASCISTS!!!!!! FASCISTS!!!!!! FASCISTS!!!!!! FASCISTS!!!!!! FASCISTS!!!!!! FASCISTS!!!!!! FASCISTS!!!!!! FASCISTS!!!!!! FASCISTS!!!!!!
I totally agree with Sarah. The issue is not religion. If you peel back the curtain on the Cordoba Initiative and their financial investments, it is simply about not funding the project of a foreign enemy. Similarly, if a Catholic Church wanted to open whose leadership bankrolled, say, the IRA, it also should not be built.
You are an idiot. Period.
Her opinion on Ground Zero is not hate speech. What are you talking about? I think you are embarrassing yourself.
Newt Gingrich also says “no”! Palin is allowed to express her opinions without being called names. She is not a racist. The majority of the people in NYC do not want the mosque, which would be located in the burned out Burlington factory that was destroyed in the fire from the Twin Towers. Why not put the mosque somewhere else?
You do realize that Islam is a religion not a race? Does the term ‘racist’ mean anything anymore or is it just an insult you make toward anyone you disagree with?
I deplore your attempt to silence someone you disagree with. What goes around comes around and silencing of opinion is not anything I want going around.
This is about free speech and the will of the people. freedom of speech is not compatible with islam. Enjoy and fight for the rights that we enjoy in America. Islamists aim to take over the world. IF they are successful you will have 3 options: convert, Die or be taxed until you convert or die. IF you try to leave islam you will be killed. Islam is not for free thinkers and those who do not think that we are not at war, I ask you to look at Europe.
THe Mosque at ground zero is a sign that they have conquered us. It must not be allowed. They can build it somewhere else in the city, just not THERE. Those of you so called Atheist, you will be killed also. Try to say anything bad about Mouhammed and you will have jihad on you like democraps at a spending party. Ask the creators of SouthPArk, Rushdie or VanGough (oh wait Islamist killed him) . To make excuses for these radicals shows you are truly ignorant of the facts about Islam.
I liked Palin for her suggestion to rid DC of lobbyst. My reasoning for this is the lobbyst outnumber the elected politicians 160 to 1, and have been known to actually write the laws enabling them to achieve their sometimes questionable laws and regulations, perhaps, not always in the best interests of america
I agree with Palin. Call me an idiot, I don’t really care. It’s almost in fashion for Brooklynites to point the finger and make fun of someone who agrees with a so-called retard like Sarah Palin. She may be a retard in many senses, and she may not know how to speak at the level of an intellectual adult, but this specific argument she makes here is absolutely logical. Absolutely. Someone above mentioned that Islam is not a race, it’s a religion. I agree 100%. Sarah Palin even acknowledges America’s foundations are based on free religion…and here some asshole is, reporting her free speech to Zuckerberg??? If you don’t like what she has to say just because she annoys the shit out of you, deal with the challenge…don’t ruin our rights of elevated free speech through the use of virtual activism. 9/11 affected so many people…it truly would be a stab in the heart to many, even if not directly to you. It has nothing to do with religion….it is just common sense. It will not make the Islamic world respect us more, it will make us look like idiots to the international eye. That’s not a “kill them with kindness” tactic, putting a mosque at ground zero. That is straight retarded and sooo unnecessary.
Some of you guys are the actual haters, way more so than Sarah Palin. I bet if Michael Moore or Obama said this, you’d make sense of it. It’s because of who’s saying it, and not the message that’s being conveyed that so many people are against the point of the issue she brings up.
PS FREE WILLIAMSBURG IS SO BIASED ITS RETARDED
I have been banned from this site after my post siding with those affected by ground zero and talking about the lies that Brian Ries posts.
My best friends father was a firefighter. he was 15 when he went to more funerals then he can count on both hands. Ask him how he feels about the mosque .
Go back to Pennsylvania and shut your mouth.
I think your actions were “hate speech” against Sarah Palin. So what if you got shut down and couldn’t make your own “free speech”?
You should be free to print what you want, short of libel, of course. Freedom of speech, and of the press, is essential for a democracy. We need the free exchange of ideas. So – don’t shut people down. Argue back – intelligently, if you can muster it. Freedom of religion is also essential.
Please research the emotional meaning of “Cordoba” to Muslims, and then think if you want to back their effort to open a huge mosque at ground zero, on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 – September 11, 2011. Duh… Then try to convince me something sinister is not at hand…Really try. I’ll listen if you come up with something solid. There is a LOT of information out there. Do your homework.
Finally, in the Arab world, there is a saying – “First Saturday, and then Sunday….’
Translation – first the Jews – then the Christians…
Keep this in mind when you blame others for hate speech…And keep this in mind when people protest the mosque on ground zero.
We need free speech, and the right to assemble and protest, and…oh yeah, we need the Bill of Rights! Look into it, buddy.
So Free Williamsburg opposes free speech and promotes hatred.
“If those 19 men represented all of Islam, then Eric Robert Rudolph represents all of Christianity.”
Rudolph is repudiated by 99% of Christians, those 19 are heroes to the majority of Islam.
