YOU PEOPLE ARE CRAZY THERE ARE MANY AUTHENTIC MEXICAN RESTAURANTS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS THE DECOR. THEY ARE WELL OVERPRICED 3x WHAT IT SHOULD COST TO BE EXACT. AND THE FOOD IS VERY BASIC, NOTHING SPECIAL AND YOU GO HOME HUNGRY BECAUSE OF ITS LACK OF FOOD.

This place is amazingly good - everything we had was delicious and priced right. We've only ordered for take out and they were really nice so I'm not surprised the service is good.

I just moved over onto Graham ave and I'm so excited that Mesa Coyoacan have opened. Fantastically good authentic Mexican, great waitstaff. And they are only 3 blocks from my new digs. Everything was great, I'll be a regular fixture at the bar for sure.

We went last night and it was all that and more...the salsas were perfect, the tacos de carnitas were crazy good. My husband got the steak enchiladas verdes and the salsa was an amazing creamy/spicy mix. The Michelada could be a tad spicier. Try the churros or pl√°tanos for dessert. The wait staff was friendly and attentive even though they were packed - and only 1 week after opening. We live 1 block away and never set foot in Pampa because the menu was uninspired and the prices were too high - plus the cooks were always hanging outside smoking cigs since they never had customers. A HUGE improvement.

I went to Mesa Coyoacan last Monday and I felt in love with the restaurant's food, desing and the service. I do recommend it to go with all your fiends.... there is a huge table to share it ... Love that table!

intresting i might go check this place out.
ive only eaten l,a mexican food twice, but its mostly tex mex related. nyc has a style of it's own which i enjoy but ive seen alot of tex-mex places opening here as of late, but if youre looking for authentic mexican food you should check out places in queens especially corona and astoria and some places in bk.ive never eaten a veggie burrito to be honest ;-).but i love beef burritos ,highly recomended to everyone especially to us gym rats who are looking for a meal snack to help bulk up ;-)

stumbled across this place during their public opening. awesome food. great atmosphere. not your typical burrito and taco joint. very few vegetarian options, but the grilled cactus and mushroom tacos were unbelievable.

good mexican in the hood?
what are you talking about there are alot of authentic mexican places here, as for the l.a food, you cant compare the same mexican food from l.a and ny because both sides have their own unique style of mexican food.
