WE SAY: Our favorite of the old-school diners in the neighborhood. Good burgers, breakfast is served all day, and just what you would expect from a diner. The vegetable sides are flavorless, but fresh (somewhat). A great place to go when you are in the mood for an American cheese omelet served by a Polish waitress. And of course, the pierogis are the best thing on the menu.
From New York Magazine
"With a decor that's more Martha than MoMA, Kasia's Restaurant is refreshingly devoid of the neighborhood's throngs of nouveau chic and instead provides hearty weekday meals to Williamsburg's original Eastern European transplants. The menu offers traditional Polish dishes like potato pancakes and cheese pierogies along with cheeseburgers, chicken salad, and other diner requisites (like all-day breakfast). The beef goulash makes it worth trip, especially with a bottle of Zywiec, a pale Polish lager that the cute, young waitresses highly tout. --Kristine Brabson"

Comments
Now this place is good. So far I've had two dishes -
the veggie burger combo - which was fantastic, and the polish kielbasa, which was also very good.
This place is reliable. The prices are not super-cheap, but I'd say they are fair. Service is OK. Not a bad place at all.

Too bad they are closed weekends... they have some of the best pancakes in the area and the all day breakfast would mean an awsome brunch
