Oh, summer nights at La Piazzetta. The food, the wine, the atmosphere - so relaxing, so delicious. I can't wait to come back again. The chef's talent is unmatched. Right in the center of Williamsburg Italian district, you get to see all the locals and newbies co-exist! :)

AMAZING! This is my favorite Italian spot ever. The food is authentic, traditional with taste. NOne of the jared sauces like you get in other italian places. The mood is great, service rocks and its a fun place! Try it on a saturday night, I did and loved watching the locals get their groove on after 10pm. MY FAVE!

Since La Piazzetta has opened over 5 years ago I dine there at least twice a week. I know every staff member that has ever been there and it's been mainly the same. There has never been a Maggie and there is certainly never been a window that overlooks the kitchen, so get your facts straight! For anyone who believes this nonsense you are definetly losing out on a great dining experience. See for YOURSELF....

I have worked for francesco and I would never eat anything by la piazzetta. The food is mad in a nonsanitary conditions - martin is right - just chech a waiters' hands and look thru kitchen window - you will surely never eat anything there - it might be tatst, but would you still eat it if you knew someone dropped it onto the floor and put it right onto your plate?

I always heard good things about La Piazzetta but never had a chance to try it. This Saturday i finally did and boy did it live up to the hype. The halibut special was to die for, and the soft music of Bocelli in the backround set the mood... A must try! Can't wait to go back.

La Piazzetta is my favorite restaraunt in Brooklyn. I've lived and dined in the area all of my life and I have never tasted more authentic Italian food anywhere. Everything is delicous and homemade. Whether I'm out for dinner or their amazing brunch I've never been disappointed.

I am a regular customer at La Piazzetta and my experience has always been great. Besides Francesco being a great chef, he makes it a point to greet everyone and make you feel at home and welcomed. The food is outstanding. Great variety of authentic Italian cooking. I always leave satisfied. Try the mussels! yummy!

Good food? People! Just go downstairs in La Piazzetta and check how dirty bastards they are! Flies, dust, grease and they pick up food from the floor! I would never eat anything made by Francesco!

Consistently some of the best food in Brooklyn, it's actually hard to talk myself into going to any of the other Italian joints in the neighborhood. I've tried them all; this is the one I keep going back to.

Great Brunch and cheap too. 9.95 for brunch that includes coffee and a bloody. I recommend the crab cake eggs benedict. The service and the ambience are great too.
This is my favorite place to eat brunch in Williamsburg and it is never crowded.

used to love the food, but i can't go back here. i don't know WHAT'S going on, but i think la piazzetta fancies itself a nightclub and not a restaurant.
on a recent dining excursion, the merengue and bachata was so loud we literally couldn't have a conversation. the table next to us got up and left. it was ridiculous. they ever played a merengue version of "axel f" and my brain exploded.
ridiculous. even our poor waiter was horrified. i'm no gringo snob either; i just have no desire to feel bass throbbing through my teeth while i try to enjoy some pasta.

You haven't had sweet potato soup and mashed sweet potatoes until you've tried La Piazzetta's. No one makes it like Chef Francesco. Unbelievable. Another treat was the Seafood Risotto and Lobster Tail with Champgane sauce. Can't wait to go back! This place is a gem!

I had brunch there this morning and was amazed at how inexpensive. $9.95 gets you coffee or tea, choice of alcohol drink (blood mary, bellini, couple others), and pick of breakfast plate. I tried the poached egg over a crab cake with hollandaise sauce and home fries, and thought it was a great spin on eggs benedict. The crab cakes were mostly meat, which I'm not used to with most of what I've had lately. I'm now looking forward to trying them for dinner, as they also had some great prices on a huge selection of pasta dishes.
