This Thai restaurant may share its name with a Hawaiian porn star, but the crisp interior doesn't play on it. Instead it showcases some of the traditional décor--a Buddha flanked by lotus and bicycle rickshaw photos--in a long room made brighter by light wood floors, squash-colored walls, and hibiscus-patterned cloth napkins. The cooking shows the same clean, spirited aesthetic, beginning with tom kha soup, in which the coconut milk adds body to the broth without weighing it down, and minced pork and shrimp dumplings wrapped in translucent dough. Fragrant, spicy curries make up part of the menu, along with specialties such as the petd tamarind--gratifyingly crisp slices of duck complemented by subtly sweet tamarind sauce--and steamed fish in banana leaf, a fresh, tender striped bass with little seasoning. The noodles don't stand out from those of other Thai spots, but vegetarians have the option of ordering them without fish or oyster sauce. Many customers opt for take-out and delivery, so the crowd can be sparse, but the little things remind you that you're in Williamsburg, like the Thai delivery guy sporting a "100% Irish" T-shirt

somehow they always manage to eff up the delivery order. yet I must admit that the surprise entrees are tasty.

I'm surprised at the negative reviews, because I've always had good experiences with Lilly Thai.
I think they did give me the wrong appetizer once or twice in a delivery but over all the service has been great. I also like that they are flexible about switching meat for veggies or tofu.
my faves are massamum curry, pad woon sen, and I like the appetizers.
my only complaint is the bright yellow walls in the restaurant which is other wize tastefully decorated, if it was just a little darker and cozier I would eat at the restaurant a lot more.

I have eaten here dozens and dozens of times and have never had anything but a great experience. The food is great, it's cheap, and the delivery is very quick. It's my favorite place to order from.

OK, I've read the comments and I see some of you have experienced some flaws. It's an imperfect world and this place is no exception. But in my experience, this place has been like thai heaven. Food is great everytime: clean, tasty and authentic(The Massaman, thai fried rice, and the chicken are all favorites of mine). Sucks if you got bad service from here, but I didn't even know it existed until I read about it here! In my opinion it's one of the best Thai restaurants in Brooklyn! I look forward to every visit.

The service, my God, they could use lessons on how to treat a customer.
I called for delivery. It was the wrong order, so I called and told them I was given the wrong order and that I received no rice. At first, they were pleasant and told me they would redeliver the correct order.
Then they phoned back and told me that the chef said he gave me the correct order, and they would not redeliver. I told them that I didn't even get the rice with my meal. After saying the chef did give it to me, they finally relented and told me they would deliver the rice.
When the rice came to my door, it was wet and mushy. Then I wondered if they gizzed in it just to get back at me for rightfully demanding my rice. Just beware when ordering from this place.

I always order from here, and while sometimes it is decent, other times it makes me feel sick, and last time, there was a staple in my fried rice. No joke, a metal staple. I won't order from here again.

I order from Lily Thai on a regular basis and have always been happy with the delivery service and the food. It's my favorite in Williamsburg and highly recommend it.

I have ordered food from here a few times. The food is tasty but every single time my meal has followed by me getting sick to my stomach.
Eat there at your own risk.
