From New York Magazine:
"Authentic Mexican is one of the few foods that New Yorkers often find lacking. This ramshackle deli might deliver satisfaction. Direct them toward the tiny kitchen at the rear, where there are a few rickety tables set up next to the soda coolers. The menu, printed entirely in Spanish, features burritos ($5) and quesadillas ($3). The sloppy tacos ($2), which use homemade tortillas and feature chunky chopped radishes and sprigs of cilantro, are a delicious, gourmet bargain."

This place has been closed for like three months now. Maybe someone will buy it and then we can eat there again. Until then, maybe the editors of this site might like to point out this fact.

The best tacos and sopes in Williamsburg. And bottles of Coke made from real sugar. Ah well, RIP...

The Tacos look good, didn't order them though. The burrito I ordered was pretty disgusting.

Oh fuck ya, this place is just like LA/Mexico City style, I love the soft tacos served with cilantro and onion, lime wedge and radish---perfect. You can get tripe, tounge and ever other part of the cow in a perfect little taco. Your friends will be grossed out then you say, "it's west coast fool". Then there's that sandwich thing, breaded chx or some such shit, that's kinda weird. But the tamales are perfect, I recommend mole.

I used to love this place - wonderful authentic mexican at reasonable prices - a real gem. Unfortunately, due to a recent experience, I will never return. I was buying supplies for enchiladas and wanted to pick up some tortilla chips for nachos to go with - asked where they are located and was directed to the bottom shelf of that scary shelving system. I went to pick up a bag and my hand went through because it had been completely eaten away by rodents. There were droppings everywhere.
Anyway, it looks like the place is for sale.

Food in this unsuspecting is establishment is excellent.
Your expectations will certainly be surpased (being that you wont have any due to the fact that you are eating in the back bowels of a Mexican grocery store).
Try the Sopes.
Bring a date.

Real food from Mexico. Just like straight off the street cart :) except you dont have to worry about the gamble and minus 3 tacos for a $1.
Also, dont miss the imported mexican CocaCola. It tastes sweeter but its really half the sugar of US cola
