I agree with most of the other posts below. First of all, the chicken pad thai was wonderful and generous. Second, my waitress was incredibly friendly, and wasn't put off by my risky question of "What do you like here?" Although some waitstaff take offense to this question, i think its a pretty important one- so don't bite my head off! I like food, so should you!
I also enjoy Ott, which is just up the road on Java and Manhattan. Get the fake duck.
I'd highly recommend both places.

I liked this place until they refused to give me my money back or replace an order they mixed up. I got a to go order and they gave us the wrong food. I called and they wanted me to bring the food in. I told them I was going to order from someone who delivered because I didn't want to walk all the way back on a hungry stomach. But they agreed over the phone to replacing what was missing in my order and what was mixed up at another time. When I came in to try to fix things they treated me without any respect and told me I was lying. And said that they have NEVER mixed up an order. Yeah right. Just admit when you are wrong. Every other place does. Anyway, this place has lost my business. I hope they go out of business sooner rather than later.

Best Thai in Williamsburg / Greenpoint - and I think I've tried them all. I'm not always a fan of pad thai but theirs is amazing - great balance of subtle flavors and not at all bland like some pad thai can be. The ginger chicken was not too salty and full of perfectly cooked vegetables. Also the house salad for $4 was a very generous portion and had a great peanut dressing.

Fantastic value. Wonderful Thai food always fresh. Generous portions. Service pleasant. Unpretenious atmosphere. Good house wine.

Best pad thai in Town ! The prices are decent and the serving is big. This restaurant is worth seeking out. The staff is very welcoming too.
You won't regret it.

Like many, been to most of the well-traveled Thai places in Wburg and the city. This place is hands down the best. The only authentic Pad Thai I have had outside of SE Asia. Break from the slicker Sea and Planet Thai and you'll be sold.

THE BEST THAI RESTAURANT IN NYC - AND THIS IS THE NATIVE COMMENTING. I have been attached to this place ever since i first tried it. The most authentic and plentiful Thai restaurant not just in Williamsburg but in NYC. On top of it all with such quality the price is really cheap! Now who cares what the deco or the ambience is like?
Try: Sakhoo (traditional Thai dish very hard to find anywhere else, Hoi Tod (fried mussle) is great...well everythign is great!

I'm Asian and a foodie so I'm a tough palate to please when it comes to Asian food but this is by far the BEST thai joint in Williamsburg. Thai friends who introduced me to Noodle Studio swear it's the best thai restaurant in NY (sorry sripraphai!) Cheap and amazingly good. Order the spicy mango salad (with grilled prawns), dumplings, noodles and curries, sauteed entrees like the spicy basil beef w/string beans... You will never eat at SEA, Tai Tai, or Planeat Thai again!

i liked it okay as a Thai restaurant (instead of Planet Thai or Sea) until it gave me food poisoning :(

Not impressed. Really boring and predictable menu, and not very well done at that.

Man this is amazing hidden gem. This is truly the most amazing authentic Thai food I have ever had. Iv been to Thailand several times and I have yet to find food as amazing as this.
If you want an authentic home cooked thai meal...this place is it. It blows all those other wanna be Thai restaurants away! This is the real deal.

I love Noodle Studio!! It's more authentic than the other local Thai places and delivery arrives fast & still hot. The "Passage to Bangkok" entree is fabulous.
