the restaurant part was very hot and we were there early. the backyard chairs wet. the waiter didnt know anything about the wines - his wine recommendastions were poor and the menu didnt reflect their inventory - they were out of half of what we inquired about

My girlfriend and I went to have a wonderful dinner at Oak Wine and Bar.
The appetizers were divine, the entrees were better. The only thing I would recommend is to share meals, because even the "small plates" on the menu were rather large....amazing taste, amazing food, but more than we could eat with an appetizers and entrees together. You could feast on two appetizers at this place.

While this place is super cute in the spring/summer, both for dinner and for brunch, the service is terrible. Our waiter couldn't understand us when we asked if any of the pastries had nuts, and forgot to bring us the dessert that we ordered to go. It took almost 20 minutes to get a check and the silverware was nowhere to be found. Here's hoping you have a more attentive server when you go.

This place is my favorite spot to eat in Williamsburg! The atmosphere is intimate, friendly and makes you feel like you teleorted to some cool cafe in spain. I recommend starting with the cheese plate (which features six different cheeses, candied walnuts honey...) and moving on to the ribs with mash or chicken castellano. Both are scrumpa lump. Also, they finally got a liquor license so the back patio is the best summer dinner spot period.

Came for brunch at 3pm on a Sunday and they were out of almost the entire menu (there were three things we could choose from and one of them they only had one left). It was still pretty tasty, but upsetting that they ran out of food. decent service and pretty quiet.

After only stopping in for the best coffee in the neighborhood, finally tried Oak for dinner. Great ambiance for me and my honey. Try the scallop salad and the ribs. Also BYOB and a no attitude staff that was very friendly.
