A truly unpleasant experience. Beware! The portions are small, like the octopus, for example. The large Greek salad is what a small one is in other Greek restaurants. The souvlaki was so bad that you get more and better meat for $2 at a street vendor in Astoria, Queens. I love Greek food, and I was truly disappointed. Any place in Astoria would be a better deal for authentic Greek cuisine. Santorini is the only Greek restaraunt in Williamsburg, which is why they can do what they do. Not worth it. I give it one star!

Having just returned from our honeymoon in Greece we are experiencing feta withdrawal. The food at Santorini is better than many of the places we ate in Greece!
The grilled octopus was the most tender I have ever tasted. Great service! We enjoyed meeting Paula.
Everything was wonderful and we WILL eat there again (and again...and again). It was well worth the price.

I haven't yet gotten anything on the menu that wasn't awesome. I live right around the corner to this place and am so happy it's around.
A neighbor of mine was all like " you haven't had a gyro till you have had this gyro" and I was all like "i dont really care about gyros one way or the other" Then I tried one and knew exactly what he was talking about.
The one problem is while the staff is super nice they are also clearly worried that the business will fail, thus making them a bit over eager and slightly awkward. but other then that everyone should go there and give them a try, you'll be happy you did.

Paula, Marianna, Anthony, Sonya, and the entire staff made us feel as if we were a part of their family! Great place for groups! They have a private space in the back with direct access to the patio if you so choose.
I had my 26th birthday dinner there and loved everything about it! THey decorated too! The food was amazing! Spanakopita, Baby lamb chops, baklava!
And more importantly my guests had a wonderful time!! They are looking forward to the next birthday and want to have it there!
The burg has lots of great places to eat, but by far, this place has the best service! and the best hummus! Go try for yourself! :)

There is something truly magical about the food at Santorini! Paula, the chef, cooks with LOVE. You will find yourself licking the plate at the end of the meal. The chicken soup is the best you will ever taste!
Everyone who works here is so friendly-- you feel like part of the family!

I walk past santorini grill every day on my way home. It took me a couple of months to go inside---I did NOT realize what I was missing!
The bar for greek food is set HIGH in my book. One of my closest friends growing up was Greek, and her mother used to feed us the most amazing dinners. Another friend of mine is from Thessoloniki. She's an amazing cook and has inherited all her grandmother's secret recipes.
That being said, there is something truly magical about the food at Santorini. Paula, the owner and chef, introduced herself to my friend and I the first time we ate there. She's a formidable woman, tall with short blond hair, and a deep raspy voice. But after eating her food and listening to her stories, it becomes hard to stay away. She is truly an amazing woman AND an amazing cook.
You can taste the love and care that she puts into everything you eat. I dream about the chicken soup! I've brought all my friends into this place, and every time, they are licking their plate clean.
The entire staff is so warm and friendly, you feel like you're eating in someone's home rather than in hipster central.
The prices may look a bit high on the menu, but---MAN, you get so much food here that it will last you for two days! I always have to ask for a to-go box, and the food is only that much better the next time around. They do not skimp and sometimes give you a little free dessert.
Go for the food, go for the singular experience, and watch-- you won't be able to stay away!
This is hands down my favorite place to eat in this neighborhood or any other

Ordered delivery from them last week--so glad to have them close by! Terrific food, fresh ingredients. The eggplant salad was amazing, very tasty chicken souvlaki, and the fresh cut potatoes still have me dreaming about them. I will definitely become a regular! Bravo.

i loved their food, and as for the lamb i talked to one of the owners he was a friendly guy, said they plan to put up lamb gyros in a few months or less because its just starting as a restaurant so business isnt all that great, once it picks up they plan to add alot

Very authentic and so fresh! The staff is friendly and attentive, but for me the real draw is the food. I had one of the best salads I've had in months: romaine with lemon, dill, feta, scallions. My impression is that this place has very high expectations about the quality of their food.

Delicious! This place is fantastic -- totally worth spending a few extra bucks for their wonderful Greek cuisine. Fast delivery too.

Was going to pick something up, but then I saw their prices... Also I strictly order lamb, no beef or chicken when it comes to Gyros. Where's my lamb?!
