"The Bike Crusader" Gluing Bike Locks on Bedford Avenue: CALL FOR PHOTOS
A “longtime” Williamsburg resident is so fed up with the influx of bikes on Bedford Avenue that he’s taken to injecting Krazy Glue into bike locks — and the Brooklyn Paper’s given him the name “The Bike Crusader.”
“If I get the right people together, we will go down Bedford Avenue at 4 am and inject every bike lock on the strip with Krazy Glue,” said the vigilante, whom we’re calling “The Bike Crusader.”
“There is a bike crisis. Every pole in the neighborhood is littered with them. … These Yuppies are running the whole damn city, and I’m left to my own devices.”
He believes the city needs to clear the sidewalk for people getting out of cars, and threatens, “no bike is safe.”
First one to snap a picture of this guy wins. First one to send in a name/description wins too. We’ll publish. Send here.
