Last night All Hands Electric held a CMJ showcase at Union Pool. Virginia Plain and Zachary Cale footage is below. If I’m not totally mistaken, this was Virgina Plain’s stage debut, and a very promising one at that.
Zachary Cale played “Go Folk Yourself Summer Fest” yesterday at Cooper Park in Brooklyn. Below is a video edit of his set’s second to last song titled “Day for Night”.
Promoting his brand new album “Noise of Welcome”, Zachary Cale played an in-store show last night at Academy Records Annex in Williamsburg. The video edit below features 2 new songs from that set, one of which is on his latest record.
Zachary Cale previewed a handful of songs off of his upcoming album “Noise of Welcome” last night at Zebulon. Below is a video edit of the set’s closing number “War Love”, alongside clips of openers The Heaven’s Jail Band and D.Charles Speer & the Helix. Speer himself has a new album coming out on Thrill Jockey soon. Can’t wait to see him and the Helix share the stage with label mates Liturgy. Now that’d be what I call a diverse bill.
Zachary Cale was at Zebulon last night. Accompanied by Alfra Martini, the duo performed songs from Zach’s upcoming full length named “Noise of Welcome”. Below is a two song video edit of the show.
While CMJ shows fired away at heart attack inducing frequency, Zachary Cale brought it down a notch at the Hunter’s Moon Rooftop Hang. Set inside a giant plastic bubble, built by Bentley Anderson on his Williamsburg rooftop, Cale treated his audience to about a half an hour of his signature line of compositions. A video edit of the performance can be found below. Songs include “Star Crossed And High”, “I Left The Old Cell” and “Low Light Serenade”.
Zachary Cale premiered his new full band line up at Death By Audio last night. A video montage of the set’s first three songs is below. Those that missed out will have more chances to catch Cale’s stellar, Dylan infused song writing in and around Brooklyn soon:
09/30 Union Pool, Brooklyn
10/14 Barbes, Brooklyn
10/19 Union Hall, Brooklyn
