In our interview with The Libertines in September 2004, we stated incorrectly that Banny Poostchi, the band’s original manager, was “sacked.. for being too strict.” Poostchi, who discovered The Libertines, was not sacked — she chose to leave on October 20th 2003, a year after the release of their debut album, “Up the Bracket.” Sorry!
