The Rock & Roll Circus at Lincoln Center: January 3 – 4
Tonight and tomorrow, this is the place to be. OK Go just canceled for Tuesday but have been replaced by Ariel Pink. Tonight, the show is free, but you can buy tickets here for Tuesday.
Picking up where the best of 1968’s legendary rock superstars left off, the all-new ROCK & ROLL CIRCUS is a cutting-edge marriage of the best of circus spectacle with today’s top musicians, creating a multisensory, explosive experience unlike any other live event available today.
On January 4th, Saint Motel, Nick Zinner of the YeahYeahYeahs + Aska, and Amazing Baby will perform alongside circus acts, with ringmaster ACID BETTY bands, while contortionists, balancing acts, jugglers, and acrobats fill the ring alongside.
Belvedere, and other sponsors Jet Blue, Publicide Inc., Pop Chips, EarPeace and photo opportunities from Impossible Projects (of Polaroid fame), plus a retail pop up from Spirit Hoods and Impossible Projects. Favorite famous New York food vendors, such as Van Leeuwen’s Ice Cream Truck, Mexicue and Asia Dog, will feed hungry concertgoers, Six Point Brewery will provide a pop-up beer bar.
Come one, come all to the Rock & Roll Circus!
