Speaking of the convention, it was nice to see Olbermann address the GOP’s (disgusting, immoral, predictable) politicizing of September 11. Holy Christ…. that “9-11 Tribute” video was disgraceful. Here’s Olbermann’s response, in case you missed it
But at the end of the day THIS sums up the GOP convention best.
Yes this was disgraceful. With all of those boneheads chanting “USA, USA” at every given opportunity, you’d think the GOP would be embarrassed. Patriotism is one thing, but they sounded like a bunch of jocks and toothless redneck. And where were all the people of color. I get being fiscally conservative, but come one, the GOP platform is by and large for the wealthy and the ignorant. period.
I don’t know. So many great tasteless moments to choose from. How about the zombie stares coming out of the drones as the chanted “drill baby drill” during Guiliani and Palin. I’m sorry but the real McCain is much better than this RNC let on.
