Heems, known best for being 1/3 of Das Racist, released a mixtape earlier this week entitled Nehru Jackets. It is jam-packed with his very specific brand of offbeat vocal rhythm, slow flow, political awareness, and cultural irreverence. Once again Freewilliamsburg comes through with another stunning example of stupidity and talentlessness masquerading as irony and wit. Gussy them up as you will, but please don’t try to pretend that Das Rascist is interesting or important. They’re not.
