Town Hall Lunatics Getting Even Lunatic-ier
Evidently, this lunatic is nowhere near where the president will be conducting his town hall address, but he is legally allowed to carry the pistol in New Hampshire. Live Free or Die indeed. Also worth noting:
the gun-toting protester was holding a sign referencing the Jefferson quote: “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”
Needless to say, if this were a liberal protester, he’d be in jail now. The hard right just keeps getting creepier.

If he was legally allowed to carry a firearm, why do you think his political affiliation kept him from jail? (Also, New Hampshire is a swing state that has a very large left-leaning constituents.)
It sounds like you are describing the “hard” right as “creepier” because this citizen brought his pistol to a town hall meeting. But, unless you know that he doesn’t carry it everywhere he goes, or you know that he brought it to intimidate, I don’t see how you can extrapolate anything from the photo.
Non-violent passion in politics is not a bad thing. Whether it’s from liberals or conservatives.
