Weird New Graffitti In Greenpoint

[NERD ALERT] Looks like that made-up language from Lord of the Rings.
The top graffiti seems to be mostly German written in pseudo-runes. “Das Gesel* der Runen” = “The Society of the Runes”?
The bottom graffiti starts with the name of the runic alphabet (“futhark”) written in actual runes, then goes into something I can’t immediately decipher. (Feel free to try your luck: http://www.omniglot.com/writing/runic.htm)
i bet it’s a direct letter-for-letter type cryptogram. FW should have a little contest for the first to crack it.
Turns out these are old pagan runes that Neo-Nazis now use. Not looking forward to these assholes causing trouble this Summer.
The top one seems to read “Das Geheimnis der Runen”, the secret of the runes, but they left out the second “i”.
